A RUSSIAN man was caught strangling and skinning a dog in a park “to supply meat for doner kebabs”. The thug was arrested after shocked teenagers witnessed him butchering the dog and contacted police in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk. The man in his 20s named only as Nikolay was identified as an illegal immigrant from Kazakhstan. He told police: "When I lived in Kazakhstan, there were a lot of dogs, and it was normal to cook the meat on a barbecue and eat them.” He confessed: “I used a wire to strangle the dog. “I was given the animal as payment for a job.” After one night in the cells he was released and returned to the scene to try to collect the dog’s carcass which he had strung up on a wall. He was stopped by animal rights activists.
