Footage posted online by hundreds of players shows their in-game avatars dancing and flying in front of a virtual stage at the event on Saturday night. “We made history today! The first ever live virtual concert inside of @fortnite with millions of people in attendance. So insane, thank you epic games and everyone who made this possible!” tweeted Marshmello, real name Christopher Comstock. “What makes me happiest about today is that so many people got to experience their first concert ever. For several months, the mysterious cube – known affectionately to players as Kevin – has been floating around the battle royale game’s map, interacting with players and changing the in-game landscape. But on Sunday night the popular online game brought an end to the cube story through a dramatic live event witnessed by all players simultaneously, which saw the cube vanish and the Leaky Lake area of the map transformed. A SHOP has apologised over a "rocking zombie child" window display that has been terrifying children. The ghoulish figure, which has no eyes, left young kids "jumping out of their skin" at The Range in Plymstock, near Plymouth, Devon. Mum Lisabeth Jones, 36, was shopping with for storage boxes with her children, aged two and six, when she spotted the horror show. She told Plymouth Live: "I was disturbed by these models, let alone them (my children). "I’m praying it doesn’t cause them nightmares. Lisabeth complained to the customer services over the dead child exhibit, which rocks as you walk past it. In a message on a Facebook, she added: "My two-year-old jumped out of his skin when one of them moved. Parents have slammed the home and garden shop over the exhibit, that also features a giant skeleton and a red clown. "This is too much to be displayed in such a prominent position."
