A DEVASTATING fire which ripped through the Grenfell tower block in West London left 71 people dead and hundreds homeless. The first victims were named as Syrian refugee Mohammed Al Haj Ali, 23, and artist Khadija Saye, 24. A public inquiry into the cause and spread of the fire officially opened on September 14, 2017 - exactly three months on from the inferno. A west Oak Cliff woman whose apartment caught fire Monday afternoon has died.Barbara Louise Reeves, 80, was hospitalized with burn injuries Monday afternoon and died around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, officials said.
