Houston council member Larry Green died of toxic combination involving methamphetamine

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Autopsy results have determined that Houston city council member Larry Green's death was an accident. Tests showed he had a combined toxicity of chloroethane and methamphetamine.Green was found dead in his home on Tuesday, March 6. He was 52 years old. Houston police said a missed meeting led them to perform a welfare check at Green's home. According to police, the city leader was found in bed and there were no obvious signs of foul play.Council member Michael Kubosh said the cause of death does not take away from the legacy Green leaves."We as council members will remember him in a good light. I don't think any of this will tarnish his reputation among all of us," said Houston City Council Member Michael Kubosh.The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office provided the following description of substances found in Green's system:Chloroethane (ethyl chloride) is an organic solvent that is found in aerosol (spray can) preparations. Turkey: 4 staff members killed in attack at university

ANKARA, Turkey — A research assistant shot and killed four staff members at a university in central Turkey, the university’s president said Thursday.Prof. Hasan Gonen of Osmangazi University, in the city of Eskisehir, some 250 kilometers west of Ankara, told reporters that the gunman shot and killed a deputy dean, a secretary and two teaching staff at the university’s school of education.The attacker, identified as Volkan Bayar, was apprehended by police as he left the scene, Gonen said.Gonen said the motive of the attack appeared to be a personal dispute. MS-13 Gang Member Arrested Traveling With Migrant Caravan From Central America to U.S.

World Caravan MS13 Police in Yuma, Arizona apprehended a member of the gang MS-13 who crossed the U.S. border illegally on Monday night, according to reports. The gang member, an 18-year-old named Herberth Geovani Argueta-Chavez, had crossed into the United States with a group of 60 other migrants believed to be part of the migrant caravan that President Donald Trump has focused on over the last several weeks. The young gang member had pretended to be an unaccompanied minor, but police later ascertained that he is an adult who was affiliated with the infamous cross-border criminal group. Both the caravan and the gang have caught the attention of the president, who has railed against Central American migrants during speeches and on social media.
