Owing to this, the actor has been asked to appear before the police to record his statement within ten days. Archant A tarot card reader has called for Barking police station to reopen after her 80-year-old mum was mugged on the way home from the shops. The two women can be seen with Ms Sawhney's 80-year-old mother near Thames View Health Centre. Tina Sawhney’s mum – who asked not to be named – was walking along Bastaple Avenue in Barking when two women stopped her at 12.45pm on Saturday (June 9). CCTV footage showed the pair – who Ms Sawhney said were 18 to 20-years-old and spoke with east European accents – circling the retired teacher who walks with a stick because of her arthritis. A MAN is fighting for his life after he was knifed outside a police station - following a series of attacks in the capital. Emergency services scrambled to Ilford Police station, East London at around 4am this morning. London Ambulance service took the man thought to be in his 30s, to a nearby hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Scotland Yard confirmed the building will remain closed during the initial stages of the investigation. No one has been arrested in connection with the attack. The Ilford stabbing came hours after a semi-pro boxer had "half his face blown off" as he sat in a car with friends. Oluwafemi Omosuyi, known as Femi, is fighting for his life after he was shot outside Oliver Goldsmith Primary in Peckham, south London at around 8pm. When disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein arrived at a New York police station to be charged with rape and sex abuse, he was seen clutching three books.
