The internet has defended a man for "publicly humiliating" his wife on social media after she shared a false photo from their wedding. Published to Reddit 's r/AmITheA**hole forum, a man under the anonymous username u/Mean-Coconut-541 shared his story in order to get the opinions of the "AITA" community. The popular post has over 8,000 upvotes and 1,000 comments. The original poster (OP) began his story by explaining that he and his wife have officially gone "no contact" with his mom. Due to his wife and mother not being "fundamentally able" to get along and a "vicious" fight, he decided that it was best for them to not speak any longer. He admitted that it wasn't an easy decision and that it was very "gut-wrenching." The decline in consumer price inflation in July was widely celebrated in financial markets and the White House, but it did little to deter lawmakers from enacting the Inflation Reduction Act this week. That’s probably because the bill is not really aimed at reducing inflation. It is a tax and spending bill that subsidizes Democratic priorities on climate change and health, paid for with tax hikes. Over 10 years it is expected to reduce the budget deficit, which economists say could put downward pressure on inflation. But most of that reduction does not take place until 2027 through 2031, long after the Federal Reserve projects it will have brought inflation back down to its two percent target. Kilcher, who recently starred as Mary Palmer in The Alienist , was charged with fraud on May 27, 2022. She is set to appear in court on August 7, 2022, after pleading not guilty to the charges According to Los Angeles County Superior Court records, Kilcher was granted $96,838 in benefits between October 2019 and September 2021 because of injuries to her neck and shoulder she sustained during the filming of 2019's Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Kilcher had claimed she was unable to work after her injuries and had turned down several roles as a result.
