The boys were snapped bare chested to soak up the sun wearing just baggy swim shorts as they posed in a pally group pic during their alcohol-infused trip. Elsewhere they enjoyed a more civilised meal out before heading out to make the most of their sunshine vacay. Quinta Brunson explains why there won’t be a shooting episode of ‘Abbott Elementary’
Quinta Brunson, the creator and star of “Abbott Elementary,” is shocked that fans of the show are asking her to write an episode about school shootings. Brunson, 32, took to Twitter on Wednesday — just one day after a gunman entered a Texas elementary school classroom and killed 19 children and two teachers — to question why viewers are reaching out to her — and not their elected officials — to address the mass shootings. “Wild how many people have asked for a school shooting episode of the show I write,” wrote Brunson in a series of tweets. “People are that deeply removed from demanding more from the politicians they’ve elected and are instead demanding ‘entertainment.’ I can’t ask ‘are yall ok’ anymore because the answer is ‘no,’” she continued . “please use that energy to ask your elected official to get on Beto time and nothing less. I’m begging you,” she went on , referring to Texas gubernatorial contender and gun control advocate Beto O’Rourke. “I … [Read more...] about Quinta Brunson explains why there won’t be a shooting episode of ‘Abbott Elementary’

Makkal Needhi Maiam wants government general hospital established at Talavadi
With the Government Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres in Talavadi unable to fulfill the medical needs of over one lakh people in Talavadi Hills, Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) has urged the State government to establish a Government General Hospital in the hill area. Tony Scott is the underrated king of ’80s and ’90s blockbuster movies
There’s a new “Top Gun” movie coming down the pike seven months from now. Regardless of whether or not you were alive when the original was released back in 1986 — and I was — when you think of “Top Gun” you probably think of Tom Cruise, then Kelly McGillis, then fancy airplanes, then Anthony Edwards breaking his neck in the ejector seat, then a young Meg Ryan and then maybe Val Kilmer if you’re as into Val Kilmer as all citizens of the world ought to be. You might even think of legendary bro-ducer Jerry Bruckheimer, who made enough blockbusters in the 1980s to fill a cocaine barge. But there may be one person you’ve forgotten. I’m assuming a lot about your memory right now, but all takes are borne from the conception of such straw men. So allow me to reacquaint you with the man behind the camera for “Top Gun,” Tony Scott. Tony, brother to Ridley Scott, died nine years ago, so he won’t be directing this next “Top Gun” installment. Instead, “ Top Gun: Maverick ” was shot … [Read more...] about Tony Scott is the underrated king of ’80s and ’90s blockbuster movies
