Oslo Shooting: Police Probing Incident As Terror Attack, Norwegian Man Of Iranian Descent Held

June 25, 2022 by www.news18.com

Oslo’s Pride march was called off on Saturday after “terrorist” shootings in the centre of the normally tranquil Norwegian capital killed two people and wounded 21 others. Police arrested a suspect, a 42-year-old Norwegian man of Iranian descent, shortly after the shooting started around 1 am in three locations in central Oslo, including a gay bar. “The police are investigating the events as a terrorist attack,” police said in a statement. Organisers of the Pride march that was due to take place on Saturday afternoon said they were calling it off. “All events linked to Oslo Pride have been cancelled” following “clear” recommendations by police, the organisers wrote on Facebook. “We do not yet know the reasons for this terrible act, but to all the homosexuals who now are afraid and are in mourning, I say we are all with you,” Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store said on Facebook. Police said two people had died and 21 were wounded, including 10 seriously, and said two weapons had … [Read more...] about Oslo Shooting: Police Probing Incident As Terror Attack, Norwegian Man Of Iranian Descent Held

June 24, 2022 by www.breitbart.com

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) – A man was found guilty Friday of murder and attempted murder for fatally stabbing five people and wounding four others in southern Norway when he attacked strangers with a bow and arrows and knives. He was carrying 62 arrows and four knives at the time of the attack. Yogi Takes Jibe at Azam Khan in Rampur, Says ‘Won’t Let the District Become ‘Den of Terror’ Again

June 21, 2022 by www.news18.com

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday lashed out at the Samajwadi Party, saying the BJP’s double-engine government has worked to liberate the poor from the land mafia, unlike the previous dispensation. In a veiled attack at SP MLA Azam Khan in his bastion Rampur, the CM said, “ Inki rassi jal gayi par ainthan nahi gayi (They lost all their powers but still their attitude didn’t come down). BJP won’t let Rampur become a ‘den of terrorism’ again.” The CM made the remarks while addressing public meetings in Bilaspur and Milak areas ahead of by-polls in support of BJP candidate Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi. “Earlier, land mafias used to encroach on land of the poor and often suppressed them. After coming to power, our government gave the land back to the poor and took action against such mafias and also took action against them.” The CM said the BJP government took back about 640 hectares of land in Rampur from the land mafia and give it back to the poor. Adityanath went on to say … [Read more...] about Yogi Takes Jibe at Azam Khan in Rampur, Says ‘Won’t Let the District Become ‘Den of Terror’ Again

EastEnders’ Slater sisters now as Jessie Wallace accepts caution after ‘cop attack’

June 20, 2022 by www.mirror.co.uk

The Slater sisters are barely recognisable from the fresh-faced young women who exploded onto our screens on EastEnders in the early 2000s. Landing in Albert Square in 2000 the original four sisters were Lynne, played by Elaine Lordan, Maureen (Little Mo), played by Kacey Ainsworth, Zoe, played by Michelle Ryan and Kat, played by Jessie Wallace . The sisters were brought up by their dad Charlie (Derek Martin) and their battleaxe grandmother was Mo, played in all her angry glory by Laila Morse. From the second they arrived the Slater clan have been involved in some of the most harrowing, explosive and downright dramatic storylines EastEnders has ever aired. Kat revealing she was 'sister' Zoe's mum in an iconic scene where the youngest Slater screamed 'you ain't my muvva' across the Square before Kat screeched back 'yes I am' has gone down in soap history. The iconic Slater sisters Fans were stunned to watch as it was revealed Jessie’s character Kat let slip … [Read more...] about EastEnders’ Slater sisters now as Jessie Wallace accepts caution after ‘cop attack’

‘Labour needs much more confidence in our values – and vibrant voices outside London’

June 17, 2022 by www.mirror.co.uk

Boris Johnson is a man without a plan. His leadership is a slurry of headline-grabbing slogans which lack any substance and fizzle out under a moment’s scrutiny. It’s government by gimmick, and the novelty’s long worn off. The Conservatives can’t deliver what Britain needs whilst tied down by the whims of their out-of-touch backbenchers. Replace the leader, and the song remains the same: the Tories offer little more than staying in power for power’s sake, a tired status quo with no ambition for the UK. Labour’s next phase of attack requires much greater confidence in our party’s values. We must resist taking sides between groups of voters, playing into the identity tests used to sow division and culture war. Any bold alternative must start with a clear rejection of the Tories’ broken economic settlement - fiscal austerity, privatisation and devastating cuts - in real terms - to welfare, services and public sector pay. EU Immigration Twice As High As Previously Thought, ONS Admits

May 12, 2016 by www.breitbart.com

European Union (EU) immigration into Britain is nearly 1.5 million higher as previously thought, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has admitted – confirming a suggestion by Breitbart London editor Raheem Kassam in August 2015. The ONS said in 2014 that around 220,000 EU migrants had entered Britain over the previous year, yet separate figures showed 421,000 new National Insurance Numbers (NINos) had been issued in the same period. Now the ONS confirmed Breitbart London’s suggestion, admitting that its original figures — based on the International Passenger Survey (IPS) — left out “short-term” EU migrants who had been working in the UK for under 12 months. Had they been included, the real immigration figure would have been nearer over 470,000, more than double what was originally claimed. The graph shows scale of the difference between official Long Term Immigration (LTIM) figures and the number of National Insurance numbers (NiNo) issued. Short Term … [Read more...] about EU Immigration Twice As High As Previously Thought, ONS Admits

Audit Reveals Growth of Pro-Migration NGOs with Millions in Revenue

May 24, 2020 by www.breitbart.com

A round of audits by Greece’s National Transparency Authority of pro-migration NGOs has revealed massive growth in recent years, with some receiving tens of millions of euros in revenue. The authority claims around 320 non-governmental organisations relating to immigration operate in the country. It has been investigating the funding and operations of the various pro-migration groups and is set to look in detail at around 15 to 20 per cent of them in the first major audit of its kind. According to a report from Greek newspaper Proto Thema , the early findings have revealed massive growth for some of the NGOs, including one that went from having 50 employees in 2013 to 1,050 in 2019. Another group reported no income five years ago and a whopping 23 million euros of income in 2019. The Sun: ‘Germany SABOTAGED David Cameron’s EU Renegotiation And He Let Them’

May 10, 2016 by www.breitbart.com

From The Sun : Germany was secretly in control of David Cameron’s EU renegotiation throughout – and talked him out of asking for a key immigration block, Iain Duncan-Smith today claims. The former Work and Pensions Secretary breaks ranks to sensationally lift the lid on the Cabinet’s bid to redraw Britain’s membership. He insists that at the last minute, the PM allowed Angela Merkel to sabotage his promised ‘red line’ demand for an emergency brake to halt new arrivals. Mr Cameron agreed to drop his centrepiece demand less than 24 hours before he planned to spell it out publicly for the first time after furious protest from Berlin. Delivering his biggest attack on No10 yet in the EU referendum fight, pro-Brexit IDS declares on Germany’s hidden role: “It’s like they were sitting in a room, even when they were not there. “There was a spare chair for them – called the German Chair. “They have had a de facto veto over everything.” The drama between the two capitals … [Read more...] about The Sun: ‘Germany SABOTAGED David Cameron’s EU Renegotiation And He Let Them’
