Demi Lovato added more ink to her body after she used her music last week to reveal her relapse. Like some of her other tattoos, it has an important message. The singer posted an Instagram story on Monday to show the word "free" on the side of her finger. The next photo revealed she wasn't the only one to add the word to her body. "The team that tats together stays together," she wrote on the photo and tagged her team, including makeup artist Jill Powell and hairstylist Cesar Ramirez. Lovato captioned the photo with Friday's date, the day after she announced her relapse on the somber single "Sober." Before that, she had been sober for six years. She tweeted a clip of herself singing the song on Sunday, thanking those who have supported her and calling herself "a new person with a new life." The "free" tattoo isn't the first Lovato has shown off on Instagram, nor is it the only meaningful ink that can be connected to her music. In fact, she has so many tattoos that she … [Read more...] about Demi Lovato gets “free” tattoo after relapse

UK Should Offer Americans Free Abortions After Roe v. Wade Repeal
A medical trade union in Britain will lobby the government to provide ‘free’ abortions for Americans in the wake of the repeal of Roe v. Wade . In response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the issue of abortion to the state level, the UK’s British Medical Association trade union will lobby its government to provide free abortions to all foreigners — including Americans — whether their own country will pay for the procedure or not. British taxpayers, presumably, would pick up the bill. Members of the British trade union also agreed to publicly condemn the U.S. court’s ruling, joining the likes of so-called ‘Conservative’ Party Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who previously lambasted the move as a “big step backwards”. According to a report by The Telegraph, the BMA approved a motion that would allow it to push the British state to “support the provision of free and safe abortion care to all nationals seeking this in the UK, without … [Read more...] about UK Should Offer Americans Free Abortions After Roe v. New technique used to free 1,300-year-old “Ice Prince”
Experts have used a new technique to thaw the 1,300-year-old remains of a child dubbed the "Ice Prince" after they froze them with nitrogen to preserve them. The "Ice Prince" is thought to have been of high birth, as the experts also recovered a sword and scabbard, as well as other significant artifacts. The Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments (Bayerisches Landesamt fur Denkmalpflege [BLFD]) recovered the grave in Tussenhausen, southeastern Germany, in October 2021. The BLFD said in a statement obtained Wednesday that "the ice shell had protected the exceptionally well-preserved burial during transport to the archaeological restoration workshop." They then examined the rare find, saying, "The so-called little 'Ice Prince' starts to sweat. "To be more precise: restorers from the BLFD thawed him with a hot air gun and a soldering iron, among other things." The BLFD explained: "Since this week, they have been thawing the deep-frozen child's grave from the … [Read more...] about New technique used to free 1,300-year-old “Ice Prince”
Raab’s opera slur towards Angela Rayner is a perfect example of Tory snobbery
Champagne socialism is back , said dynamite Dominic Raab with a cheeky grin and the now infamous wink aimed at Angela Rayner – whom, with Boris Johnson trying to escape his troubles by hiding overseas – he was facing off against at PMQs . What a card, eh. Bet the lads were cheering him on in the tea rooms after that. Our Raab bally well put the lady on the ropes, eh? What? WOT! Rayner, you see, had committed the cardinal sin of going to the opera. Glyndebourne in fact, where she’d indulged in a tipple. And how dare she. That’s reserved for toffs, isn’t it? The rich and well-heeled. The only lefties allowed through the doors are champagne-swilling meeja luvvies, who let the Tory side down by voting for the oppo because... I don’t know, social conscience? Raab may be an Oxford-educated lawyer, but he is an Asda price politician – so it shouldn’t come as any surprise that he had to resort to cheap tactics to protect himself from his vastly more talented … [Read more...] about Raab’s opera slur towards Angela Rayner is a perfect example of Tory snobbery
