The resort is in the heart of the famous strip in Las Vegas on the south boulevard. Mandalay Bay is a four-star hotel that features a shark reef and beach, as well as a casino and spa. It has also been the venue for many of boxing's biggest fights. Shooter Stephen Paddock opened fire from the 32nd floor of the hotel while a festival was taking place in Vegas. Police found at least 42 firearms in the 64-year-old's hotel room and believed he had been staying there since September 28.
