Dozens of athletic competitions for women and girls have been upended by the participation of males identifying as transgender women, who benefit from a host of biological advantages over female competitors, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation found. Transgender-identified males have competed in a variety of women’s athletic competitions, from school sports for young children to top college events and Olympic competitions. Differences in an average woman’s strength, stamina and physique compared to the average male are sustained even when a male undergoes testosterone suppression, according to the Sports Councils’ Equality Group. “There is no equity, fairness, sportsmanship or opportunity for women to succeed at an elite level without sex-based categories. It is crucial that as a society we open our eyes and recognize the irrefutable damage that is being done to women’s sports and everything Title IX was created for,” Riley Gaines, Stand with Women spokeswoman at the … [Read more...] about Men Are Upending Women’s Athletic Competitions Across The Nation

Cultivating Confidence through a Growth Mindset
Growth mindset is a concept popularized by psychologist Carol Dweck, which posits that intelligence and ability can be developed over time through hard work, dedication and learning from mistakes. It encourages the idea that successes are achieved incrementally with effort. Adopting this belief system can help you become more confident in yourself and your capabilities - instead of having a fixed mindset where success is seen as predetermined or out of reach. By building self-confidence through a growth mindset, you can challenge yourself rather than accept what comes easily. Instead of avoiding something because it might be difficult, you learn to appreciate the challenge and find fulfilment in overcoming obstacles. You may also begin to see failure as a learning opportunity and use it to motivate yourself to become better. Western Powers ‘Blocked’ Ceasefire Early in Ukraine War: Israeli Ex-PM
Naftali Bennett, the Prime Minister of Israel towards the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine last year, says the West “blocked” a ceasefire he was helping to broker early in the war. Bennett, who was prime minister and then alternate prime minister in Israel during a confusing period of coalition politics prior to the return of Benjamin Netanyahu as head of government in December, said that “there was a good chance of reaching a ceasefire” before the Western powers “curbed” negotiations in a wide-ranging interview uploaded to YouTube. Israel is one of a number of states traditionally seen as being aligned with the West, along with the likes of India and Turkey , which have played little or no part in efforts to support Ukraine militarily or engage in the sanctions war with Russia, with Bennett explaining that while “the Americans expect… that we all rally for Ukraine” this would not necessarily have been in Israel’s interests. By way of example, Bennett … [Read more...] about Western Powers ‘Blocked’ Ceasefire Early in Ukraine War: Israeli Ex-PM

Josh Hawley said Wednesday that packing the courts and abolishing the Senate filibuster is “about contempt for voters” and “would be a huge mistake.” Though Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden came out against court packing in August 2019, the issue again enjoyed center stage when he refused to take a stand in either direction, instead claiming his position would “be the issue.” Democrats like vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris have expressed an interest in the idea of late, particularly as a countermeasure to a Republican-led Senate looking to confirm President Donald Trump’s pick to fill the seat of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. After playing the debate exchange between Biden and Trump on court packing on “The Story,” Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum asked Hawley for his thoughts. WATCH: “First of all, it’s absolutely ridiculous,” Hawley responded. “The vice president should answer the question, but here’s the … [Read more...] about ‘It’s About Contempt For Voters’: Josh Hawley Criticizes Democrats’ Plans To Pack The Courts, Eliminate Filibuster
