Chris Crook, 70, and Sarah, 63 had booked on the 12-day all-inclusive cruise package holiday from Barcelona to Venice.Halfway the travel, the old couple ended up in Rome stranded after losing a passport and evicted from the ship. World Two fishermen have been rescued by a cruise liner after drifting out at sea for 20 days in what was described as a "Christmas miracle."  The sailors had been in the Caribbean Sea for nearly three weeks after their ship ran out of petrol when they were blown off from their gear during strong winds.  The Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas cruise ship found the men in a small fishing vessel between Grand Cayman and Jamaica on December 21, spokesman Ted Miller told CNN. The sailors had reportedly gone days without water, leaving one of the men unable to walk at the time they were rescued. The men were saved by the cruise only after it was forced to alter its original route toward Cuba because of a recent storm in the area. U.S. Cruise Ship Cuba U.S. Coast Guard A cruise ship crew member has been found alive after 22 hours lost at sea in what has been described as a “miraculous” rescue effort. The 33-year-old Filipino man had been lost overboard at around 3:20 p.m. Saturday about 28 miles north of Cuba. He was found bobbing in the water by another ship around 1:00 p.m. Sunday, the Miami Herald reported. The man was not injured and is reportedly in a stable condition. He fell from the side of the Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Getaway vessel that was en route to Miami. He was rescued by the Carnival Glory cruise ship, which is operated by the Carnival Cruise Line.
