WASHINGTON, July 21 (Reuters) - The Trump administration has launched an offensive of speeches and online communications meant to foment unrest and help pressure Iran to end its nuclear program and its support of militant groups, U.S. officials familiar with the matter said.More than half a dozen current and former officials said the campaign, supported by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and national security adviser John Bolton, is meant to work in concert with U.S. President Donald Trump's push to economically throttle Iran by re-imposing tough sanctions. The drive has intensified since Trump withdrew on May 8 from a 2015 seven-nation deal to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.The current and former officials said the campaign paints Iranian leaders in a harsh light, at times using information that is exaggerated or contradicts other official pronouncements, including comments by previous administrations.The White House declined comment on the campaign. U.S. News & World Report is partnering with Best Lawyers to release an online legal directory of lawyers working in private practice in the United States. The directory initially includes tens of thousands of lawyers, but eventually will cover more than 1.3 million private-practice lawyers in the United States, according to a press release. The initial selection is based on law firm directories and bar association lists. Law firms also can supply information. Currently client reviews are not included, but the feature will be added this summer for lawyers who pay for a premium profile, according to Best Lawyers public relations manager Katie Morgan. The future of the British high street faces an uncertain future with a series of well-known chains facing collapse or entering administration.Earlier today, it was announced that the UK branch of the children's toy giant Toys R Us had gone into administration placing around 3,000 jobs under threat.Moorfields has been appointed to begin "an orderly wind-down" of the UK's biggest toy retailer.All stores are expected to remain open until further notice.Meanwhile the electronics retailer Maplin, which has 200 stores and more than 2,500 members of staff announced today that it too was entering administration.Talks with potential buyers ended in failure which lead to the collapse.But the company's chief executive Graham Harris said that the business had "worked hard" to stay afloat.Hannah Maundrell, Editor in Chief of money.co.uk said: "Sadly high street retailers are having a hard time at the moment and Maplin is the latest victim.
