Vice President Mike Pence has deleted a photo of himself with a Broward County Sheriff’s officer who was wearing a patch linked to the controversial conspiracy group QAnon. According to the Washington Post, the interaction occurred at an airport in Florida on Friday where SWAT team members greeted Pence. The vice president initially tweeted multiple photos from the exchange, including the photo of himself standing by the men, one of whom was subsequently called out online for wearing the patch featuring a capital “Q.”Photo: Twitter/Mike PenceCNN notes, QAnon runs on uncorroborated conspiracy theories, including one that suggests special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is actually working with President Trump to bring down Democrats and others involved in child sex abuse rings. Vice President Mike Pence will visit Denver on Thursday to attend a super PAC luncheon. Pence is scheduled to attend the America First Action Lunch, arriving at about 11:05 a.m. aboard Air Force Two touching down at Buckley Air Force Base, according to a news release from his office. “America First Action is the primary super PAC dedicated to electing federal candidates who support the agenda of the Trump-Pence administration,” according to the super PAC’s website. The luncheon, which is not open to the public, will be held at The Palm restaurant in downtown Denver. Pence won’t be in Denver for long. He’s scheduled to fly on to Tulsa, Okla., and then on to Wichita, Kan., where he will attend events for Republican gubernatorial candidates in those states. And while his visit to Denver will be brief, it is expected to tie up traffic.
