"Based on this, I am confident that we are ready to embark on global campaigns built on partnerships promoting cultural gifts using the Malaysia Gifts Fair platform. "This will enable our cultural gifts to be explored beyond what is possible and help accelerate prominence internationally,” she said in her speech at the event on Wednesday (June 22). Italy fears summer COVID-19 wave as cases rise
ROME, June 22 (Xinhua) -- COVID-19 cases are again surging in Italy, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday, fueling fears of a fresh wave of the pandemic during the summer tourist season. The government reported on Wednesday nearly 54,000 new infections over the previous 24 hours. A day earlier, there were 62,704 new infections. Accordingly, the past two days produced the highest back-to-back figures in the country since late April. Despite the recent increase in infections, health officials said they do not expect mortality or intensive-care patient rates to shoot higher given that Italy's vaccination campaign has been largely successful. As of Wednesday, 90.1 percent of … [Read more...] about Italy fears summer COVID-19 wave as cases rise

Yes, that’s right–patients who have already scheduled appointments, taken time off work, paid for childcare for their kids at home, and even planned surgeries in the operating room, are suddenly unable to proceed with that care and have nowhere to go. The chaos, in part, looks like this: with sudden and immediately enforced trigger laws popping up all over the country today, providers, advocates, … [Read more...] about People Fleeing Abortion-Ban States Are Desperate for Our Help
