A furious former defence minister today joined mounting fury among Tory Brexiteers as he blasted Theresa May, saying "she just doesn't listen". Mark Francois titled his three page letter of no confidence to the backbench 1922 Committee with the scathing comment on Friday. He said Mrs May had been led to disaster by pro-EU civil servants and had "betrayed" the British people. The explosive letter came as the Prime Minister fought off the disintegration of her Cabinet over her Brexit deal as Michael Gove pulled back from quitting as Environment Secretary. Mr Gove insisted he still has confidence in Mrs May and made clear he will “work with all colleagues” to get the best future for Britain. Following the resignation of four ministers in the wake of her poorly-received Brexit deal on Thursday, speculation was rife that the departure of the most senior Leave campaigner in her Cabinet could deal a damaging blow to the Prime Minister. But the PM sought to bolster her … [Read more...] about Tory MP’s scathing letter of no confidence in PM: ‘She doesn’t listen’
