The Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019 was withdrawn by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw as listed in the Supplementary List of Business of the Lower House for the day. The Centre also tabled the Energy Conservation (Amendment) Bill, 2022 in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. After the lunch break, the Upper House began a discussion on the National Anti-Doping Bill, 2022. During the discussion, several members expressed their support for the bill, however, also made suggestions about its shortcomings. The Family Courts (Amendment) Bill, 2022 is also scheduled to be discussed for passing in the Upper House on Wednesday.
