President Donald Trump is pleading ignorance in regards to military members and Vice President Mike Pence staying at Trump-owned hotels during international trips. Over the weekend, it was reported that a joint Air Force and Alaska Air National Guard unit en route to Kuwait stayed at Trump Turnberry in Scotland, which is more than 50 miles from the airbase at which they landed for the overnight stay. Monday morning, Trump said he had nothing to do with the matter. "I know nothing about an Air Force plane landing at an airport (which I do not own and have nothing to do with) near Turnberry Resort (which I do own) in Scotland, and filling up with fuel, with the crew staying overnight at Turnberry (they have good taste!).
