0 Have your say The leader of Leeds City Council wants to employ a team of life coaches as part of a £500,000 scheme to help young people in the city suffering from mental health problems. The commitment follows an announcement made during Leeds City Council’s budget meeting last week, as Coun Judith Blake (Lab, Middleton Park) said many young people struggle with mental health difficulties. It is claimed the extra money would be used to make it easier for young people in Leeds to access support. A well known Minneapolis defense lawyer who touts his services as a life coach says some of the recent ethics allegations against him are due to misunderstandings.Lawyer Barry Voss is accused in an ethics complaint (PDF) of failing to pay employer withholding taxes, overdrawing his trust account, failing to respond to client inquiries, and keeping referral fees without accounting for the time spent. College Hoops Coach Arrested in Death Punch of NYC Tourist: Police
A rising college basketball coaching star accused of throwing a punch that killed a New York City tourist visiting the Big Apple for a wedding and who had apparently mistaken him for an Uber driver pleaded not guilty Thursday to an assault charge. Wake Forest University assistant coach Jamill Jones attacked digital marketing guru Sandor Szabo around 1:15 a.m. last Sunday in Queens, causing him to fall and smash his head on the sidewalk, police said. Szabo, visiting from Boca Raton, Florida, banged on the window of Jones' SUV while looking for his ride after his stepsister's wedding, police said. The coach got out, followed Szabo to the sidewalk, clocked Szabo and sped off, police said. Szabo never regained consciousness and was taken off life support on Tuesday.
