Apple announced the arrival of enhanced sensors for a unique electrocardiogram feature at the launch of the latest Apple Watch in September, building on the company’s focus around health-related wearables. The new ECG app allows people to carry out a test of their health rhythm directly from their wrist, simply by holding their finger on the Digital Crown. ECGs can only be carried out in the US for the moment because it received De Novo classification from the country’s Food and Drug Administration. The Instagram app will be able to share users' location history with Facebook using exact GPS coordinates. Superdrug said it has become the first high street retailer to offer an HIV self-testing kit across its 200 Pharmacy stores for £33.99. The BioSURE HIV Self Test was previously available to buy online. The kit became the first legally approved self testing kit in 2015, with a 99.7% accuracy rate. It uses a small amount of blood from a finger prick sample to detect the presence of HIV antibodies and offers a result in just 15 minutes. Superdrug said that making the kit more widely available will help reduce a person’s waiting time between taking the test and their result. It could also help increase early diagnosis rates, it added. According to CEO Elon Musk, the Tesla Model 3 can now park itself, without a driver behind the wheel or in the vehicle at all.The new feature, called Summon, is available in Model 3s as of Thursday. The more expensive Model X and Model S vehicles have had Summon since last year, but the useful feature is now available in the most mass-market-friendly version of the electric car, according to TechCrunch.Summon is an extension of the already existing autopilot capabilities found in Tesla cars.
