Witch Hunt Against George Soros and Migrants Might Soon Be Punished in Viktor Orban’s Hungary
World Hungary George Soros migrant crisis Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s witch hunt against philanthropist billionaire George Soros and his government’s crackdown against migrants could soon get the leader into hot water. On Thursday, the European Union published a letter announcing that Hungary is in breach of European law over its “Stop Soros” bill, which makes it illegal for organizations or people to provide assistance to migrants and refugees. The letter is the first step to taking Hungary to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) over the controversial law. Hungary has two months to respond to the letter before it will be taken to court. Encroachments Over Forest Land Soon After Fire Incidents: MP HC Seek Reply From State Government
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has sought reply within six weeks from the State government through principal secretary forest department and the chief conservator of forest MP on a PIL for protection of forest land from being encroached upon after incidents of fire.The PIL demands to remove such encroachments from the forest land in various forest areas across Madhya Pradesh and conduct inquiry into the incidents of fire.Some miscreants allegedly set on fire the vegetation in forest areas with purpose to clear it and thereupon encroach over the forest land, the petitioner Manish Sharma said.The State government must take action against persons who are indulged in such act and protect the forest areas from fire, the petitioner said.The petitioner cited the State-wise data furnished by the Union Minister for Environment in the Lok Sabha on 26/4/2016 in a reply towards a question on encroachments on forest land soon after incidents of fire.There were 653 incidents of fire in year … [Read more...] about Encroachments Over Forest Land Soon After Fire Incidents: MP HC Seek Reply From State Government
Most States in favour of #NEET; will soon decide on implementation issues: Health Minister
“Most States are in favour of NEET in- principle. However, some States have expressed that there are some logistic issues that are impeding its implementation, and therefore they have desired for some more time”. This was stated by Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Shri J P Nadda after he met the Health Ministers from various States to hear their views on issues related to NEET, here today.Shri Nadda stated that he had fruitful discussion with the Health Ministers from many States where they shared their State-specific issues in the context of holding the NEET this year. While they all agreed that the NEET was a welcome move to bring in transparency and remove several observed malpractices from the field of medical education, they pointed out that in some Sates the examination process was either underway or was soon to commence for induction to the State Government medical colleges.
