POLITICS 04/04/2018 10:47 pm ET The network isn't handling the critique very well. By Ed Mazza 9.5k 110 Hillary Clinton called out President Donald Trump and Fox News over their obsession with her nearly a year and a half after the election. “When he can’t think of anything to say, Trump starts chanting it and you sit there and you think, ‘Does he think I was elected?’” she said Tuesday. “I said something publicly a few months ago, Fox News is always trying to impeach me, so someone needs to tell them that it doesn’t apply to a private citizen.” Clinton was speaking at a Wing workspace panel discussion in New York, where she took on a wide range of issues, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and the tone of today’s politics. “I would hope that we can change the political culture,” she said. “Because I don’t want anybody going through that. I don’t care who you … [Read more...] about Fox News Melts Down After Hillary Clinton Mocks Them For ‘Trying To Impeach Me’

Sean Hannity Defends Withholding Link To Trump’s Attorney: ‘I Have A Right To Privacy’
POLITICS 04/16/2018 10:30 pm ET "It was such a minor relationship," Hannity said. By Nick Visser 5.8k 140 Fox News host Sean Hannity tried to minimize his link to President Donald Trump’s longtime attorney Michael Cohen on Monday, saying he has a “right to privacy” and that the relationship was “minor” and “nothing political.” “Predictably, without knowing all or frankly any of the facts, the media went completely insane,” Hannity said in the last few minutes of his program, echoing tweets from earlier Monday. “Let me set the record straight: Michael Cohen never represented me in any legal matter, I never retained his services. ... They never involved any matter ― any matter ― between me, a third party, a third group at all. My questions almost exclusively focused on real estate.” “In response to all the wild speculation, I want to set the record straight.” Earlier in … [Read more...] about Sean Hannity Defends Withholding Link To Trump’s Attorney: ‘I Have A Right To Privacy’
Shep Smith Calls Sean Hannity ‘The Elephant In The Room’ For Reported Michael Cohen Ties
POLITICS 04/16/2018 05:22 pm ET It was sort of awkward when the big news story on Monday was Smith's colleague. By David Moye 3.4k When Fox News anchor Shepard Smith reported that President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen has also represented his colleague Sean Hannity, he briefly alluded to the awkwardness of Monday’s big news story. “Of course, for us, the elephant in the room at the moment is that Sean Hannity is said to have, according to court documents, been a third client of Michael Cohen,” Smith said. Hannity was furious over last week’s news that the FBI had raided Cohen’s office and hotel room as part of an investigation for possible bank fraud, wire fraud and campaign finance violations. He did not disclose at the time that he’d had his own legal dealings with Cohen. Smith read Hannity’s statement to The Wall Street Journal on Monday acknowledging that he and … [Read more...] about Shep Smith Calls Sean Hannity ‘The Elephant In The Room’ For Reported Michael Cohen Ties
President Trump in talks with former Fox News executive Bill Shine about joining White House
Josh Dawsey, The Washington Post Published 10:02 am, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 President Donald Trump is in advanced talks with Bill Shine, a longtime Fox News executive, to become his communications director, administration officials said Wednesday. The negotiations remain fluid, administration officials cautioned, but Shine is viewed inside the White House as the front-runner for the post, which has been vacant for several months since former communications director Hope Hicks left the administration. Several internal candidates have jockeyed for the job but have been unable to convince Trump. Shine is expected to visit the White House this week, officials said, and has met with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Exclusive: Kimberly Guilfoyle Left Fox News After Investigation Into Misconduct Allegations, Sources Say
POLITICS 07/27/2018 06:01 am ET Sources tell HuffPost that Guilfoyle, who is dating Donald Trump Jr., engaged in emotionally abusive behavior and showed colleagues personal photos of male genitalia. By Yashar Ali When it was revealed last week that longtime Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle would be leaving the network, some Fox News and White House insiders were surprised that she was choosing to move on from the cable news channel and head to a pro-Donald Trump super PAC. For nearly two years — even once rumors eventually kicked up that she might join the Trump administration — Guilfoyle said that, as a single mother, she had to think of her son’s financial future and couldn’t afford to leave the high-paying gig, multiple sources told HuffPost. Guilfoyle’s departure was initially billed as her decision. However, as HuffPost first reported last week, multiple sources said she did not leave the network voluntarily. They said Guilfoyle was … [Read more...] about Exclusive: Kimberly Guilfoyle Left Fox News After Investigation Into Misconduct Allegations, Sources Say
