By Daniel Marans 230 Montana Democrat John Heenan is blasting Sinclair Broadcast Group for “using its power to take advantage of journalists” in paid advertisements on local TV stations owned by Sinclair. Heenan, a consumer rights attorney and restaurant owner from Billings, is one of four Democrats challenging incumbent Rep. Greg Gianforte (R). The 30-second spot highlights Heenan’s populist bona fides, potentially providing a model for other Democrats trying to exploit grassroots’ anger over Sinclair’s support for President Donald Trump’s agenda. Happy Women’s History Month! This year has already seen historic large-scale demonstrations celebrating women and demanding equal rights, starting with the day after President Trump’s inauguration, when millions gathered on the National Mall and around the globe for Women’s March events.Yesterday, on International Women’s Day, participants wore red to raise awareness, while women were encouraged to skip work and avoid buying anything for “A Day Without Women.”Outside groups almost always spend more ripping into candidates, as opposed to supporting them, no matter the party or gender.
