International support is of great importance to Vietnam’s national liberation struggle and development. Pope Francis has tweeted his support for Alfie Evans, after the parents of the critically ill British baby lost a court battle to keep their child on life support. The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee gave muted support Thursday for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has experienced a tumultuous week because of the ongoing Russia investigation. "Yeah, I think so," Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said when asked if he supports Rosenstein. "But that doesn't mean that I think he's doing the right thing." Politico reported on Grassley's comments. Later in the interview, Grassley addressed the Department of Justice's delays in handing over requested documents to congressional investigators. After months of waiting, the DOJ this week gave the House Intelligence Committee access to an FBI document that outlined how the Russia investigation began in 2016. A strong majority of Americans are in favor of myriad investigations into President Donald Trump, including 69 percent who support special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into possible collusion with Russia, according to the latest Washington Post-ABC poll. The results, according to the ABC-Post survey: 69 percent support Mueller's probe of possible collusion. 25 percent are opposed. 64 percent support Mueller investigating Trump's business activities. 32 percent are opposed. 58 percent support Mueller investigating alleged hush money paid to Trump's paramours. 35 percent are opposed. Just 41 percent of Republicans are in favor of Mueller's probe into collusion with Trump's campaign vs. 51 percent who are opposed; 70 percent of Independents support the probe, according to the survey. Regarding James Comey, though just 30 percent of those surveyed have a favorable opinion of the former FBI director, 48 percent find him more believable than Trump.
