Culture Fortnite Gaming Addiction A 9-year-old girl in the United Kingdom was sent to rehab after she became so addicted to Fortnite that she wet herself rather than take bathroom breaks, her parents say. In January, Carol and Richard, who have withheld their last names to protect the identity of their child, bought their daughter an Xbox. Soon after, she downloaded Fortnite, a popular survival game developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly, reported Scottishpaper the Daily Record. According to Carol, her daughter was so addicted to the game, she hit Richard in the face when he attempted to confiscate it from her. “We got called in by her head teacher asking if everything was okay. Blake Shelton, In Touch Magazine Settle Defamation Case Over ‘Rehab’ Cover
Blake Shelton reached a settlement with entertainment magazine In Touch and its publisher, putting an end to Shelton’s 2015 defamation lawsuit against the publication. The case centered around an In Touch cover that featured Shelton and the headline, “Rehab for Blake.” Shelton insisted that it wasn’t true, that he had never been to rehab, and did not have a drinking problem, despite having lyrics about drinking in his songs.The magazine’s publisher tried to get the case tossed last year, but a California judge ruled against them, allowing the case to move ahead towards a trial. According to the lawsuit, Yvonne Quaynor worked for Camden Place as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Quaynor has asthma, a condition which affects her ability to breathe.
