KUALA LUMPUR 16 Julai - Pemerhati Rasuah Malaysia (MCW) meminta kerajaan Pakatan Harapan memberikan penjelasan yang munasabah berhubung pelantikan Ketua Hakim Negara yang baharu. JAIS Presiden MWC, Jais Abdul Karim berkata, ia bagi memastikan perkara tersebut tidak menjadi satu krisis perundangan dan penyalahgunaan kuasa yang serius dalam negara. “Kerajaan perlu segera membuat tindakan untuk membetulkan hal ini. “Cukuplah dengan krisis di zaman Tun Salleh Abbas dahulu yang menyebabkan kerajaan kerugian dan menjejaskan imej perundangan negara dengan teruk,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
