Majmudar & Partners advised Axis Bank Limited, one of India’s largest private sector banks, on its acquisition of shares of Max Life Insurance Company Limited from Max Financial Services Limited and Mitsui Sumitomo Company Limited for INR95,75,00,000 (approx. Default Companies : Condonation of Delay Scheme Extended Till 30th April

The circular issued by the Ministry, reads as follows: “In continuation to the Ministry’s General Circular No. 16/2017, dated 29/12/2017 on the subject cited above, this Ministry has, on consideration of requests received from various stakeholders, has decided to extend the Condonation of Delay Scheme, 2018 up to 30th April 2018.” The Condonation of Delay Scheme was notified by the Ministry, vide a circular dated 29th December 2017. The scheme was originally envisaged to remain effective till 31st March 2018. Shareholders of a penny stock Minneapolis oil and gas company are now shareholders of a penny stock CBD cosmetics business. A Minnesota oil and gas firm, which in a former life was a producer of snow skates in Colorado, will once again overhaul its corporate structure — this time to become a producer of personal grooming and cosmetic products containing hemp-derived CBD. Avalon Oil & Gas Inc. (OTC: AOGN), a modest two-person outfit based in Minneapolis, will change its name to Groove Botanicals Inc., produce CBD personal care products and ferry its oil and natural gas holdings to a subsidiary, company officials disclosed Tuesday in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Starbucks manager who sparked global outrage by getting two black men arrested ‘no longer works for the company’

THE Starbucks manager who sparked a race row by calling the cops on two black men waiting for allegedly "trespassing" in her coffee shop is "no longer working there", reports claim. Activists called for a global boycott of the coffee giant after mobile phone footage appeared to show the men, who were waiting for a friend, being handcuffed and frogmarched out of the Philadelphia store. Starbucks apologises over video of two black men getting arrested ‘for using toilet’ at Philadelphia coffee shop Holly, who managed the 18th and Spruce Streets branch for a year, left the downtown store in what has been described as a "mutual decision", a Starbucks representative told several media outlets, including ABC. Cambridge Analytica won’t be revived under new company name

Stephanie Baker, Bloomberg Published 8:18 am, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 When the political consulting firm Cambridge Analytica announced last week it would be closing its doors and filing for bankruptcy in the wake of the Facebook data scandal, speculation mounted that it would be revived under the guise of two new companies set up in London. Not so, said Nigel Oakes, the founder of Cambridge Analytica's British affiliate, SCL Group. "It's the end of the show," he said by phone Tuesday. "The whole lot is gone. There's no secret. For anything like this to re-create itself you need a team of people to work together, but nobody is working together. Everybody has gone off to do their own things."
