Re-Emergence of Art Market Tax Investigations and Domestic Freeport as Tax Safe Haven

· November 27, 2016 ·

On May 12, 2006, Manhattan District Attorney (DA) Robert M. Morgenthau announced that L. California judge who quit over harassment allegations reemerges, dismaying those who accused him

· July 24, 2018 ·

By Washington Post PUBLISHED: July 24, 2018 at 7:31 am | UPDATED: July 24, 2018 at 7:40 am By Matt Zapotosky | The Washington Post WASHINGTON – Alex Kozinski had largely retreated from public life since allegations of sexual misconduct prompted him to retire as a federal appeals court judge last year. Even as his case sparked changes in how the judiciary handles harassment, the outspoken jurist remained silent – never addressing specific accusations that he showed clerks explicit images in his chambers or touched women inappropriately. Then President Donald Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh, one of Kozinski’s former clerks and professional friends, to a seat on the high court. · March 26, 2013 ·

“We know nothing of what will happen in future, but by the analogy of experience.” – Abraham LincolnI. INTRODUCTIONWal-Mart is pioneer of the “Big-Box” store business model, which now dominates the American arena of the corporate retail industry. Built upon the bedrock principle of offering “every day low prices,” the retail giant strives to offer the highest quality product for a lower price then competitors, and to do so, reduces input costs by relying upon frugal and efficient business practices.
