World Russian President Vladimir Putin has been dedicated his own television show on the country's state-run television channel, a move that comes during a controversial pension reform and a lull in the longtime leader's ratings. The first episode of "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin." aired Sunday on the Rossiya-1 television station, showcasing the Russian president's activities in the past week. Scenes showed Putin hard at work in strings of meetings and also kicking back with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu while on vacation in Siberia. The hour-long show included a discussion with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who was eager to highlight Putin's empathy and affection for the youth as well as the rest of the population. Katz Networks announced plans to revive Court TV on Monday, report the Associated Press, the Wall Street Journal, the Hollywood Reporter and CNN. Court TV will be devoted to trial coverage, with expert commentary and analysis, 24 hours per day seven days per week. PERU Two drug mule Michaella McCollum is looking to cash in after talks about a TV show based on her book about her criminal life. The 25-year-old mum-of-two has been trying to build a glamorous career since leaving a Peruvian prison three years ago for smuggling 11kg of cocaine worth £1.5million in August 2013. McCollum was supposed to release her book House of Women last year giving her account of her time in the South American slammer, but publication was postponed. Originally from Dungannon in Northern Ireland, the infamous smuggler has now met with a TV production company in London to bring her shocking story to the small screen, the Mail on Sunday reports. The 53-year-old Poroshenko, who is trailing in opinion polls, called a rally of several thousand people in the capital before debating comic actor Volodymyr Zelenskiy, who is widely popular for playing a Ukrainian president fighting corruption in a popular TV sitcom.
