PETER Tobin is one of Britain's worst serial killers - and is a member of an exclusive club of prisoners who will NEVER be released. Here's our lowdown on the beast who one judge said is "unfit to live in a decent society"... Who is Peter Tobin? Twisted Peter Tobin is a Scottish serial killer who is serving life without parole for the brutal murders of three women. The monster, who had served ten years for raping two 14-year-old girls, was found guilty of attacking Polish student Angelika Kluk in 2006. When detectives quizzed him about other killings, he snarled: "I couldn't give a f***." He beat 23-year-old Angelika with a table leg, stabbing and raping her in the horrific attack - which took place in a CHURCH. Officers clocked up more than 1,500 hours of overtime and their efforts saw Tobin nailed for the 1991 murders of Vicky Hamilton and Dinah McNicol - with the subsequent charges leading to a life sentence. Inside Justice is a not-for-profit investigative unit that explores alleged miscarriages of justice. The organisation employs the skills of forensic experts, criminal lawyers and former police detectives to investigate select cases. They have been asked to investigate 1,124 cases since 2010 and Louise Shorter was involved in overturning the wrongful convictions of Barri White and Keith Hyatt before Inside Justice Advisory Panel Member Tracy Alexander led a team of scientists which identified the real killer, Shahidul Ahmed. The organisation only considers cases where the person in prison strongly states they are innocent of being involved to any extent. Ariana Eunjung Cha, The Washington Post Published 3:21 am PDT, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 "I would hope that within a very few years . . . instead of this being a seven-day wonder this will become a fairly commonplace affair." Those prescient words were spoken by Robert Edwards, a 52-year-old Cambridge physician on July 25, 1978, when he announced the wondrous birth of baby girl who was the first to be conceived outside the body. Louise Joy Brown, born healthy and screaming at 5 pounds 12 ounces, made headlines around the world and gave new hope to infertile couples everywhere. Scientists "hailed it as a momentous medical achievement," according to the New York Daily News. Her father, John Brown, a truck driver, declared "there is no difference between her and any other little girl. We just helped nature a bit, that's all," according to People in a … [Read more...] about Happy birthday, Louise Brown! 40 years after the first IVF baby, 8 million more and counting
