FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The Florida-based Publix grocery store chain is not offering the COVID-19 vaccine to children younger than 5 but has not explained its decision. The supermarket chain with 1,288 stores in seven Southern states was instrumental in distributing the vaccine when it was initially released. Its website indicates it is currently offering the vaccine to adults and children 5 and older. The company told the Tampa Bay Times that Publix stores won't offer the vaccine to young children “at this time." It did not explain the decision or return multiple messages or phone calls to The Associated Press on Thursday. The company's website shows it offers other vaccinations for babies as young as 6 months. The Flash star Ezra Miller — who has been accused of grooming a teenager since she was 12 years old, as well as acting inappropriately toward a separate child — is now accused of housing three young children and their mother at his farm in Stamford, Vermont. Miller has been hosting a 25-year-old mother and her three young children at his Vermont farm, which has the children’s father worried, as well as two other individuals with knowledge of the situation, according to a report by Rolling Stone . The two others with knowledge of the situation told Rolling Stone that it is an unsafe environment for children, claiming there are unattended firearms around the actor’s home. UVALDE, Texas — At least 19 children and two teachers were killed Tuesday when a gunman opened fire in a Texas elementary school, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The suspected shooter, who might have had a handgun and a rifle, was also killed when law enforcement confronted him at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 83 miles west of San Antonio, Gov. A video of a kid being caught brazenly eating a rotisserie chicken —after running herself a bath—has gone viral online. In a viral post shared on TikTok , user tashpointohhh92 explained how she found her child snacking on the dish, which was meant to be for their dinner. Since being shared online last week, the clip—which can be seen here —has been viewed some 561,000 times. The user, who goes by Tash Pointoh, left a caption on the video which read: "POV (point of view): You come downstairs from laying the baby down to find your toddler got herself a rotisserie chicken from the fridge and ran herself a bath." As the clip played, the woman could be seen entering the bathroom where a plastic container of rotisserie chicken was laying next to the toddler, who was inside a bathing bucket with some toys.
