Port of Muskegon Offloads Wind Turbine BladesOn August 22 a Panamanian freighter docked in Muskegon with wind turbine blades for the Exelon Corp’s Beebe Wind Farm in Ithaca (see photo). The 59 meter, 11 ton blades were manufactured in Germany.  Three more shipments of blades will arrive in the next 30 days. There will also be three shipments of tower components from Korea offloaded during this time. The 125 Nordex N117/2400 2.4 MW wind turbines for the project will be manufactured and shipped from Jonesboro, Arkansas.Scorecard on 25 x 25 Ballot InitiativeThe Michigan Board of Canvassers has certified the 25 percent renewable generation by 2025 ballot proposal for the November 6 ballot. Thousands of Brazilians took to the streets of the nation’s largest cities on Tuesday and Wednesday in anticipation of a Supreme Court decision that opened the door for the arrest of socialist presidential frontrunner Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva late Thursday morning. Brazilians congregated at the headquarters of Lula’s socialist Workers’ Party (PT) and on the streets of Brasilia, among other cities, dressed in red and holding images of their leader. One year on, Kathy Griffin's big regret isn't being photographed with a bloody, decapitated Donald Trump head — it's apologizing for it. The comedian, 57, made her amends last May shortly after the graphic photo went viral, sharing a video that declared she had crossed a line, and would continue to ask the public's forgiveness. But Monday on "The View," Griffin's attitude toward the image — which landed her under federal investigation for two months — took an entirely different tone. "What a year it's been. Reilly WASHINGTON ― A 30-year-old former CIA employee the federal government suspects ― but has not charged with ― giving a massive trove of agency documents to WikiLeaks is also facing charges in Virginia, where he’s accused of snapping photos as he sexually assaulted a passed-out friend as she lay on the floor of his bathroom.
