Multiple small explosive devices have been found on a property near the Labor Day parade route that New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy was supposed to be marching in Monday morning, senior law-enforcement officials tell NBC 4. The South Plainfield Labor Day parade and fireworks display was canceled Monday morning due to a "security concern." The borough issued the cancelation on Facebook saying police were conducting an investigation into the matter. A senior New Jersey law-enforcement official told NBC 4 that multiple small explosive devices were found on a man's home and in wooded areas along his property. There was no indication an of the devices were planted, however the man's home was close to the parade route, so officials decided to cancel the parade as a precaution, they said. Fewer than 100 days after the 2018 Red Sox World Series parade, it’s once again duck boat season in Boston. Moments after the Patriots’ 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII Sunday night, Mayor Marty Walsh announced that the 2019 Patriots Super Bowl victory parade will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, starting at 11 a.m. This year’s parade route will begin at Hynes Convention Center, then head down Boylston Street past the Public Garden and Boston Common to Tremont Street. There, the parade will turn left and head up Tremont (opposite the flow of traffic), make a final turn onto Cambridge Street, and finish on Cambridge Street in front of City Hall. THE New Year’s Day Parade will see more than 10,000 performers take to the streets of London’s West End today. SANTA Claus was left dangling helplessly in the air after his sleigh broke in front of hundreds of children. Footage shows Santa – dressed in his traditional red suit – facing the ground after the float he was sitting on collapsed. Hundreds of people had gathered around to watch the Christmas Fantasy Parade at Disneyland in California on Saturday.
