Megyn Kelly has some advice for making the Oscars watchable again: Drop the political speeches and hire a host "who hasn't intentionally alienated half the country." On Thursday's "Megyn Kelly Today" show, the NBC anchor discussed news the 2019 Academy Awards would be getting a makeover to address lousy ratings the annual Tinseltown show notched this year behind host Jimmy Kimmel. The remarks begin at the 9:45-minute mark. "I'll say one thing, if the Oscars want better ratings, they should really consider stopping the political speeches," Kelly said to audience applause.
