"I'm retiring, for good," he said in a video posted Wednesday morning . "Won't be long-winded, you only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year," he joked. Brady said he was retiring on Feb. 1, 2022, only to reverse the decision less than six weeks later and return for a 23rd season with the Bucs. He never filed official retirement papers in that case.
