The news that His Fraudulency Joe Biden will allow people to send money to Cuba essentially means national Democrats have written off Florida as a potential win in the upcoming elections. “On news that the Biden administration plans to ease remittance restrictions for Cuba, it’s financial good news for Western Union & Publix in Miami,” tweeted Marc Caputo, a far-left staffer at the far-left Politico. He adds, “There’ll be lots of opposition from Cuba hardliners here, but Biden folks tell me he (& natl Ds) has basically written off FL anyway.” Biden’s support for the Cuban government comes in stark contrast to the previous administration. Trump shut down these remittances. After all, why should American money prop up Cuba’s left-wing Nazis? This is an important issue among Florida’s Cuban population, who are desperate, for obvious reasons, to see Cuba’s communist regime fall and their loved ones freed. But Joe Biden, who cares about everyone in the world except … [Read more...] about National Democrats Have ‘Basically Written Off’ Winning in Florida

Mariupol fighters in Russian hands; both sides claim wins
By OLEKSANDR STASHEVSKYI and CIARAN McQUILLAN KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Hundreds of Ukrainian fighters, including wounded men carried out on stretchers, left the vast steel plant in Mariupol where they mounted a dogged last stand and turned themselves over to Russian hands, signaling the beginning of the end of a siege that became a symbol of Ukraine’s resistance to Moscow’s invasion. Russia on Tuesday called the operation a mass surrender. The Ukrainians avoided using that word — but said the garrison had completed its mission, and that they were working to pull out the fighters that remain. On Monday, more than 260 fighters left the Azovstal plant — their last redoubt in Mariupol — and were transported to two towns controlled by Moscow-backed separatists, officials on both sides said. Other fighters — their precise numbers unknown — remain inside the ruins of the fortified mill that sprawls over 11 square kilometers (4 square miles) in the otherwise Russian-held city. … [Read more...] about Mariupol fighters in Russian hands; both sides claim wins

Joe Biden’s rare primary endorsement in danger of backfiring in Oregon
President Joe Biden has endorsed just two Democrats so far in the 2022 midterm election cycle and it appears one of those endorsements could be about to backfire in Oregon. Biden announced his support for incumbent Representative Kurt Schrader in Oregon's recently redrawn 5th congressional district in April but Schrader is facing a tough challenge from progressive Jamie McLeod-Skinner. Voters will go to the polls on Tuesday to decide the primary races in the state's congressional districts as well as voting in the Senate and gubernatorial primaries. While Schrader has been endorsed by both Biden and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), he is a controversial figure who opposed Nancy Pelosi 's return as Speaker of the House and the second impeachment of former President Donald Trump following the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. McLeod-Skinner has been endorsed by four out of the six county Democratic parties in the new 5th district, which has seen … [Read more...] about Joe Biden’s rare primary endorsement in danger of backfiring in Oregon
