PRINCE Philip's terrifying accident at the age of 97 has sent shock waves around Britain. But what did the Queen say about her husband's car crash, and for how long have the Royal pair been married? The Duke of Edinburgh had to be pulled out from a flipped over Land Rover after it crashed with a Kia carrying two women and a baby on January 17, 2019. The two women were taken to hospital with slight injuries. The baby and Philip were unhurt in the crash, which happened on the A149 not far from the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk where they had both been staying. Buckingham Palace has commented only briefly on the incident, confirming that Philip had sustained no injuries and had seen a doctor as a precaution. Theresa May is "intending" to meet the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of the G20, and confront him over the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the human impact of the Yemen war.
