NEW DELHI: The online registration link for the 2019 National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is now active on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) - ntaneet.nic.in. This is for the first time that the NEET examination is being conducted by the newly formed NTA. Earlier, the exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The applicants who wish to take admission to medical courses such as MBBS and BDS need to qualify the NEET entrance exam. NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is scheduled to release the first round allotment results for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2018 on Friday, June 22, 2018, after 4 pm. The candidates who cleared the NEET entrance exam and have applied for the seat allotment through the All India quota can visit the official website — mcc.nic.in - to check their result. The process of registration for the NEET-based All India counselling of MBBS and BDS seats began on June 13 at medical education institutes across India. HYDERABAD: After National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Telugu students have proved their mettle at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) entrance test too with two of them featuring in Top 10 nation list. While Ankadala Anirudh Babu from Andhra Pradesh , who secured all India eighth rank in NEET, topped the JIPMER MBBS exam with 99.99 percentile score, Sidharth Ravi from Telangana secured all India ninth rank in JIMPER, results of which are declared on Saturday. "Just like in other competitive exams, our students have fared well at the JIPMER too. While two our students secured a spot at top 10 list at the all India level, 18 students made it to the top 100 list in the unreserved category," said Sushma Boppana, academic head, Sri Chaitanya Educational Institution.
