Here’s what national media outlets are saying about Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s announcement Sunday that she will run for president: The Washington Post’s headline about Klobuchar said she made her announcement by “touting herself as a bridge builder.” The New York Times ran a “Who is Amy Klobuchar?” video and said she announced, “hopeful that her moderate politics, Midwestern roots and carefully cultivated history of bipartisanship can appeal to a broad swath of voters in contentious times. The Hill, a Washington, D.C., outlet covered her announcement but had President Trump mocking Klobuchar’s timing, in a tweet. The president tweeted: “Well, it happened again. Liberals assessed the situation and correctly concluded: People are learning facts on the internet that we’ve been withholding from them, so now they don’t agree with us. THIS MUST BE STOPPED! The media relentlessly lied to the public about Hillary’s … [Read more...] about Ann Coulter: Hall Monitor Nation
