The “parabellum” in the title of John Wick: Chapter 3 comes from the Latin Si vis pacem, para bellum — translation: If you desire peace, prepare for war , a line spoken by one of the movie’s great character actors. As effective as that line is, though, my favorite is a much simpler one that comes from our hero, John Wick (Keanu Reeves), when he’s asked, “What do you need?” His answer? “Guns. Lots of guns.” Oh. Hell. Yes. If the line sounds familiar, it comes from what is arguably Reeves’ most famous movie, The Matrix (1999). Old photographs of the shipyard and eminent personalities who have been part of HSL’s glorious journey of over eight decades are showcased in the museum. The Hisense 26.6 Cubic Foot French Door Refrigerator With Ice Maker is a beautiful refrigerator that looks more expensive than it is, includes excellent features and is a great way to bring more organization into your kitchen. Over the last several months, I tested the Hisense HRF266N6CSE refrigerator, which retailed for $1,599. I put this through the paces at home with two teens and a busy kitchen and fell in love with its interior water dispenser, innovative storage and modern style. Since that time, this model number was recalled due to loosening door hinges. The issue has been remedied, and the model name updated to HRF266N6CSE1 (also $1,599). Otherwise these refrigerators are identical. The Hisense offers a lot of storage inside. Yet it doesn't take up as much space as our previous refrigerator, thanks to its integrated door handles. The second in a series of two 1,200 passenger-capacity vessels named Atal, under construction in Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) for the Andaman & Nicobar Administration, was launched on Friday. The ship was launched by Rameetha K, Scientist ‘G’ at NPOL ( DRDO), who’s the wife of Madhu S. Nair, shipyard chairman and managing director. Mr. Nair and senior officials were present. The vessel is designed as a modern high-quality passenger vessel with electric propulsion suitable for carrying 1,200 passengers and 1000T cargo for “all-weather” operation between the mainland and the A&N islands. The ship is built to the highest standards of the Indian Register of Shipping and Lloyds Register of Shipping overseen by the DG Shipping of India and meets the requirements of “Class III Special Trade Passenger Ship” as per Indian Merchant Shipping rules. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday said the expenditure incurred by the government on education and health cannot be construed as freebies and stated such measures were being extended to the poor and those living in the fringes.
