The FBI announced Thursday a man wanted for murder in Newark, New Jersey, has been added to the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list. Lamont Stephenson has eluded the authorities for nearly four years after his alleged involvement in the murder of a woman and killing of her dog on Oct. 17, 2014. The FBI still considers Stephenson armed and dangerous, and is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his arrest. Stephenson is the 11th fugitive wanted by FBI Newark placed on the Ten Most Wanted list. Stephenson, 43, was charged with homicide in November 2014, and a federal arrest warrant was issued by the U.S. District Court of New Jersey over a year ago. THE FBI has revealed seven of Russia’s most wanted hackers who could be “armed and dangerous” after bungling spies inadvertently outed 300 more Kremlin agents. Russian government operatives were charged with hacking into the computers networks of organisations attempting to stop Russian athletic doping. The Bureau has now released pictures of seven men “wanted” over various offences including computer fraud and aggravated identity theft. The indictment charged Dmitriy Sergeyevich Badin, Artem Andreyevich Malyshev, Alexey Valerevich Minin, Aleksei Sergeyevich Morenets, Evgenii Mikhaylovich Serebriakov, Oleg Mikhaylovich Sotnikov, and Ivan Sergeyevich Yermakov. INTERPOL doesn't have a most-wanted list along the lines of the FBI but publishes a list of "red notices" identifying and describing fugitive persons who are wanted by a national jurisdiction and are being sought internationally for extradition. Rather than give the people a ranking the list is simply inclusive. What is a 'red notice'? An international alert to give notification about crimes, criminals and threats from police There are eight types of notices, seven of which are colour-coded by their function: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black, Orange, and Purple. Red notices give details of people wanted by a judicial jurisdiction or an international tribunal with a view to his/her extradition. LOS ANGELES — A man wanted for allegedly committing an armed sexual assault in Los Angeles last year has been added to the FBI's list of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. The FBI also announced Thursday a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of 46-year-old Greg Alyn Carlson, who detectives believe is likely responsible for additional sexual assaults. In July 2017, Carlson committed a burglary during which he attempted to sexually assault a woman while using a weapon, authorities say. Carlson was arrested, charged and released on bond the following September and fled to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In November, he was seen in Hoover, Alabama, and then in Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, Florida.
