One of America's oldest farmers markets, a mainstay in Montgomery County for nearly a century, has revealed it will close up shop for good in September if it doesn't find a suitable buyer. Zerns Farmers Market, located at 1100 E. Philadelphia Avenue in Gilberstville, announced this month that the decision to shut down comes down after the property failed to find a buyer at a price of $4.5 million. "After much prayer, deliberation and financial analysis, we recognize that the current situation is not sustainable," owner Bobbie Gail said in a statement. "It is time for us to close our doors. Serious offers from potential buyers will be considered until the very day we close, September 30, 2018. We are hopeful in light of this decision, the right person will come forward and purchase the market." Zerns established itself as a unique local market over the course of its 92 years in business. Authorities have charged three people for allegedly abusing children at the Care Cottage, the residential treatment center where they worked in Montgomery County.Hiram Thigpen and Jasmin Lyons have been arrested. Officials are still looking for a third suspect, Jadaniran Thompson. In an incident on April 11, Thigpen is accused of grabbing and throwing a child to the floor, then putting his knee on the child's neck, affecting the child's ability to breathe.Thigpen still works at the facility. He is charged with injury to a child, a third degree felony. He was arrested on Tuesday by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Lyons no longer works for Care Cottage but was charged with felony injury to a disabled child for her alleged role in an incident on October 10, 2017.Officials say Lyons grabbed and twisted a child's arm, fracturing it. CONROE, Texas (KTRK) -- We are following breaking news out of Montgomery County, where officials have confirmed three people dead in a massive house fire.The Montgomery County Fire Department responded to a fire in the 16000 block of Long Valley Court around 2:30 a.m. According to the fire marshal, an 18-month-old, 6-year-old and 93-year-old were killed in the fire.Firefighters said seven people were trapped inside of the single-story home.A neighbor busted through a window to rescue a 5-year-old and 7-year-old who trying to escape through a window.Officials said the father received burns and lacerations trying to save his family. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition. A woman who reported that a man was taking photos of her daughter Tuesday at a Montgomery County Starbucks said an employee told her the store could not ask the man to leave. The woman, who did not want to be identified, told NBC10 that the employee at the coffee shop in East Norriton Township allegedly said the man had "been here all week doing this but we can’t ask him to leave." The employee may have been referring to Starbucks' new "Third Place Policy," which encourages employees to allow people to "gather" and "connect," but also lays out guidelines for how customers should behave. The new policy was adopted during Starbucks' damage control tour in response to an incident in a Center City Philadelphia Starbucks involving the arrests of two black men who sat inside the store waiting for a friend without ordering anything.
