FRANKFURT/MUNICH (Reuters) – German portaloo firm Adco, known for its Dixi and Toi Toi brands, is up for sale with four private equity groups in the last round of bidding for the 700-800 million euro (625 million pounds) firm, people close to the matter said. EQT, Triton, Apax and Core Equity Holdings are expected to submit binding offers by a July 10 deadline for the family-owned company with sales of 360 million euros, they added. The company was formed by a merger of the two portable toilet brands Dixi and Toi Toi in 1997 and was run by Toi Toi founder Harald Georg Mueller until his death in 2014. His wife and son took over but they opted to put the firm up for sale so a new owner could inject cash to fund the expansion of the fast-growing group and to put a stronger focus on value maximisation. Citi has been mandated as sell side advisors, they said. Adco is expected to generate earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization of about 100 million euros this … [Read more...] about German portaloo firm up for sale, private equity interested

MySale’s value has plummeted since its joined the junior AIM stock market in 2014 – going from being worth £340 million to less than £10 million. In a major retrenchment, the company said it was focusing on an “Australia and New Zealand First” strategy – selling off its US and UK divisions, including website cocosa.co.uk to discount retailer Brandalley. Sales have also been falling due to new tax changes in Australia – its biggest market – and the company admitted its offering was not up to scratch. … [Read more...] about Online retailer MySale puts itself up for sale

I’m sure you’ve heard about the palatial estate in suburban Philadelphia that – listed for sale at $750,000 – features what some are calling a “sex dungeon,” but the realtor enlisted to sell it termed a “private sexual oasis.” The listing went live around 9 p.m. Thursday, drawing substantial attention with the initial “50 Shades of Maple Glen: One-of-a-kind suburban home with a sexy twist” sales pitch. Alas, that powers that be in online real estate listings decided within roughly 16 hours that those saucy descriptions and photos of the lust-fueled basement needn’t be available for public consumption anymore. But that’s OK! Upon seeing the listing early Friday morning, I spoke with Melissa Leonard, award-winning Realtor at Coldwell Banker Preferred in Blue Bell, Montgomery County to arrange a tour. She graciously agreed to show off the Norristown Road home that doubles as an uber-profitable AirBNB property much to … [Read more...] about WATCH: Take a tour of the Montgomery County home for sale with a ‘sexual oasis’
