Vowing to stay true to her conservative beliefs in the era of President Donald Trump, Meghan McCain, the daughter of the late Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said the character of the Republican Party is "nebulous" and "seems to be gone." "Something will come out of this in one way or the other, but I don't know if it going be the traditional Republican Party because Trump changed it so much, and it's not what I recognize anymore," McCain told CNN's "The Van Jones Show" on Saturday. "Its character seems to be gone." Meghan McCain said she is not going to desert her political beliefs or party affiliation like some Never Trump Republicans have, however. "Republicanism is so tied up with being for Trump, but I'm also not a Never Trumper," she said. I try not to feel bad for myself, because I just don’t, I think he would be terribly pissed if I walked around that way, anyway. But, I learned that grief is a very toxic taboo subject.
