MEGHAN Markle shows off a henna tattoo to celebrate her pregnancy on day two of her Royal Tour in Morocco with Prince Harry. The seven-months pregnant Duchess revealed the design to two young girls on a visit to a school in the Atlas mountains - where she wowed kids by speaking French. The plant based ink - which is safe for expectant mums - is deemed by a symbol of good luck and a blessing for any significant event such as a birth. A teenage pupil drew the flower design on a visit to an educational boarding school today, after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were being greeted by a guard of honour as they landed last night in Casablanca. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry touch down in Morocco as Royal couple are met by guard of honour
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have kicked-off their three-day tour of Morocco with a guard of honour in Casablanca. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were delayed by two hours after their plane was late taking off following the knock-on effects of an earlier delay to their scheduled plane. Meghan and Harry were welcomed to the country by the British ambassador Thomas Reilly. The Duchess kicked off the tour in style, wearing a red Valentino dress which was accessorised with a pink clutch handbag and matching high heels and gloves. Harry inspected a guard of honour from the Auxiliary Forces, who were dressed in dazzling white uniforms. The royals then walked along a red carpet that led to Casablanca Airport's royal suite where they were offered milk and dates. MEGHAN Markle took Prince Harry on a secret visit to the Grenfell community kitchen yesterday — where Adele also made an appearance. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex went to the Hubb Community Kitchen which provides support for the families of the Grenfell Tower fire. Meghan, who is currently expecting her first child with Harry, previously helped to raise £250,000 for the kitchen and wrote the foreword of a charity cookbook of recipes inspired by the group. The visit was made all the more special by the fact that it was Prince Harry's first appearance at the centre. But the royal couple weren't the only famous faces at the kitchen last night as pop star Adele also dropped by to see the work the women there have been doing. Meghan Markle is helping to spread the Thanksgiving spirit in the United Kingdom by visiting a community kitchen in London that offers kitchen space and meals for local residents that have been hit by tragedy. She has also helped to raise money for the kitchen by contributing to a best-selling cookbook. The women at London's Hubb Community Kitchen simply call the Duchess, "Meghan." It's an informality that comes from a nearly yearlong bond formed through food. The American Royal looked at ease as she rolled up her sleeves to help her fellow chefs prepare a salad Wednesday morning. The Hubb Community Kitchen was started in the summer of 2017, after a massive fire gutted the Grenfell apartment complex in West London, killing more than 70 people and leaving hundreds without a home. MEGHAN Markle has vowed to support the survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire “for as long as it takes” to ensure they are not forgotten. The Duchess of Sussex, 37, has formed a “deep and personal” friendship with many people who had been living in the West London tower block that was burned down in June 2017. Meghan has already been heavily involved in helping those who were made homeless – including meeting with survivors, helping out at the Hubb Community Kitchen which supports those affected and collaborating on a cookbook to help raise funds.
