Friday night’s drawing came and went without a jackpot winner, according to the Mega Millions website, so the grand prize will be even bigger the next time numbers are called.The winning numbers were 8, 16, 30, 38 and 61, with a gold ball number of 10. THE winning numbers of America’s biggest ever lottery jackpot have been revealed–with the lucky ticket holder hailing from South Carolina. Last night's Mega Millions lottery draw numbers were 5-28-62-65-70 and mega-ball 5. There were feverish ticket sales this week after Mega Millions revealed the colossal grand prize for yesterday’s draw of £1.2billion ($1.6billion). Lottery officials said that a ticket with the winning numbers for the jackpot was sold in South Carolina, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. It was confirmed by officials in California, however, that no one in the state had bought a ticket containing all six winning numbers. Catherine Doyle-Johnston, a California Lottery spokeswoman, said that the lucky ticket was sold at a Safeway store at 730 Taraval Street in West Portal.
