The elder statesman of the Washington Redskins' tight end group - and, let's face it, the entire team - came to the defense of Reed, whose NFL production has been curtailed by injury. "I wouldn't really count Jordan out. I'd say Jordan's in," the 34-year-old Davis said on Monday, before hitting the green at the Redskins Charity Golf Classic. "He just had some things he had to get through. And it happens that way. It's not going to always be perfect. "You have to fight through a lot of stuff to get to where you're trying to go," he added of Reed, who appeared in only six games in 2017 because of lingering hamstring and toe injuries. Conservative commentator Mark Levin blasted President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen for agreeing to a plea deal with prosecutors. "The general counsel for the Clinton mob family, Lanny Davis, he had his client plead to two counts of criminality that don't exist," Levin said Tuesday night on Fox News' "Hannity." "These campaign finance violations that is all over TV, they are saying implicates the president of the United States directly. "First, let's back up. It is a guilty plea," he continued. "It is a plea bargain between a prosecutor and a criminal. A criminal who doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in prison. That is not precedent. That applies only to that specific case.
