Pixie Lott, who will be appearing at Festival Too. Picture supplied by Festival Too Bars and pubs will be packed with people cheering England as they take on Sweden in the World Cup quarter-final match - kick-off at 3pm. Wild celebrations into the evening are sure to take place if England make it through to the semi-finals. There will already be thousands of people in the town centre waiting to watch Pixie Lott headline the second week of Festival Too. PHOTO BY SIMON FINLAY It happened in King’s Lynn, where police said a woman had to be sprayed with PAVA (an incapacitant spray) and leg restraints had to be used before she was arrested. Norfolk Police’s Inspector Lou Provart said: “A King’s Lynn Police officer [was] assaulted in the course of this night shift. [She] was kicked in the face and had her hair pulled.” He added: “Thankfully no lasting injury.” He said one person was in custody and it was “likely” they would be charged with assaulting a police officer. On Twitter, King’s Lynn Police said: “Officer assaulted tonight by a female drink driver who blew 118. Female repeatedly kicked the officer and had to have leg restraints put on her! Thank you to the public who reported her.
