Johnson and Johnson will stop selling its talc-based baby powder around the world from next year. Talc is mined from the earth and is found in seams close to asbestos, which is known to cause cancer. Johnson and Johnson denies the allegations and claims decades of independent research shows the product is safe to use. The healthcare company will replace its talc-based powder with cornstarch instead - citing "commercial" reasons.
