The Hisense 26.6 Cubic Foot French Door Refrigerator With Ice Maker is a beautiful refrigerator that looks more expensive than it is, includes excellent features and is a great way to bring more organization into your kitchen. Over the last several months, I tested the Hisense HRF266N6CSE refrigerator, which retailed for $1,599. I put this through the paces at home with two teens and a busy kitchen and fell in love with its interior water dispenser, innovative storage and modern style. Since that time, this model number was recalled due to loosening door hinges. The issue has been remedied, and the model name updated to HRF266N6CSE1 (also $1,599). Otherwise these refrigerators are identical. The Hisense offers a lot of storage inside. Yet it doesn't take up as much space as our previous refrigerator, thanks to its integrated door handles. TL;DR Pros : Modern, smart design Savvy use of interior space and organization Water and ice without an exterior … [Read more...] about Hisense 26.6 Cubic Foot French Door Refrigerator review

‘Day Shift’ Review: Fun, Unpretentious Action Movie from the ‘John Wick’ Crew
Two rare islands of legitimate cinematic fun in this Woke Gestapo Era have been the John Wick franchise and the equally terrific Nobody (2021) — which will hopefully become a franchise. Both feature unapologetically masculine protagonists who take us into a world that is both secret and cool. The action is spectacular. The themes are universal. The goal is only to awe, entertain, and satisfy. The people who brought us John Wick and Nobody have just delivered Day Shift to Netflix—another flat-out crowd pleaser. Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is perfectly cast as Bud Jablonski, a put-upon pool cleaner trying to squeeze out a living in the sun-baked San Fernando Valley. He’s broke. He’s estranged from his wife. He’s desperate to be a good dad to his young daughter. Unfortunately, things just keep getting in the way—primarily his vampire hunting. You see, Bud is a secret vampire hunter/bounty hunter. The undead litter the Valley, and their fangs are worth money. The … [Read more...] about ‘Day Shift’ Review: Fun, Unpretentious Action Movie from the ‘John Wick’ Crew

Nonbinary actor Isobel Thom will play the role in “I, Joan,” scripted with “they” and “them” pronouns by Charlie Josephine, who is also nonbinary, the Globe said in a news release. It will directed by Ilinca Radulian, who identifies as a woman. “Our story of Joan is full of joy and love and hope and magic and revolution,” Thom told NBC News by email Saturday. “Storytelling and art is a platform to share experiences, to stretch imaginations, to excite and inspire, to explore language, and to … [Read more...] about Joan of Arc to be portrayed as nonbinary in new production at London’s Globe Theatre
